Yes, you can add markets later: each is its own one-off registration at the market fee, and your monthly plan does not change. The multi-market discount counts only the markets ordered together at onboarding, and the one plan already covers every market you hold. You add markets in the portal, from the 27 EU member states and the UK, and the certificate names every market in your appointment.

How are you charged when you add markets later?
Each market you add later is its own one-off registration at the one-off fee for each market. You pay it once, and Eldris does not charge it again. Unlike at sign-up, it does not count with your other markets for the multi-market discount.
The multi-market discount applies at onboarding, to the total number of markets you order in one sitting, and only to the market fees. A market you add later does not count with those you already hold. So if you expect to need several markets soon, you can choose them together in one order rather than add markets later.
Each EU member state is one market, and so is the UK. There is no renewal and no re-registration, so once you pay a market's fee, the only ongoing charge is the monthly plan.
The fee for each market is Eldris's pricing, not a legal step. Article 16(1) of Regulation (EU) 2023/988, the GPSR, requires one economic operator established in the EU for a covered product. Article 4(1) of Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 says the same for the products it lists, and neither asks for one per country.
Whether one Responsible Person covers every EU country explains why Eldris still prices by market.
Does the monthly plan change when you add markets later?
No. Your one monthly plan already covers every market you hold, so adding one leaves it as it is. The plan follows your SKU count, not your markets.
A seller on the smallest plan pays the same plan price with one market or with all 28. What moves the plan is your active SKU count, because the terms set the monthly fees as tiers by that count.
A SKU is one sellable item, and each variant, such as a size or colour, counts as one SKU. So a new market adds no SKUs: the same product sold in one more country is still one SKU.
New products are a separate matter. Adding a product or SKU regenerates the certificate automatically, with no fee for the regeneration itself. But the plan follows your SKU count, so a larger range can move you to another tier.
A market and a product added at the same time are therefore two changes. One is a one-off registration for the market, and the other is possibly a new tier for the range.
Where do you add markets later?
In the portal. The onboarding flow sends an existing customer to the portal to add markets, and you change a service you have already paid for there too.
The portal also holds your records, such as your certificates and the logs of authority correspondence, and you can reach it at any time. A market you add there is a one-off registration at the market fee.
One registration per market covers every product type you sell. So a new market is one registration, not one per category.
If you are not yet a customer, you choose your starting markets in the onboarding form, and you can add markets later in the portal. The Responsible Person screen asks which markets, what you sell and how many SKUs. You see the quote before any payment, then pay the market fees plus the first month of the plan.
The EU Responsible Person service page sets out what the appointment includes. For the short answer, see the Responsible Person FAQ.
Does your label change when you add markets later?
No, not for a new EU market. EldrisAi OÜ holds the appointment for every EU market, so your packaging and listings keep EldrisAi OÜ, Ruunaoja tn 3, 11415 Tallinn, Estonia, with compliance@eldris.ai.
Packaging you have already printed therefore stays correct for a new EU market. The certificate of appointment names every market in your appointment, with a document reference number and the appointment date. You can upload it to Amazon Seller Central or any marketplace that asks for your Responsible Person.
Your appointment, your certificate and the EU address stay active while your monthly plan runs, and the plan runs month to month.
Under Article 16(3) of the GPSR, the Responsible Person's name and postal and electronic address go on the product or its packaging. The parcel or an accompanying document can carry them instead.
Under Article 19(b), an online offer must show them too where the manufacturer is outside the EU. So a listing for the new market carries the same details. The guide to label printing covers the timing.
Can you add the UK later?
Yes. You can add the UK later like any other market, as its own one-off registration at the same market fee. Your one monthly plan covers it without changing.
Added later, the UK does not count with the markets you already hold for the multi-market discount. You add it in the portal, like any other market, and you pay its fee once.
The UK is a separate appointment for Great Britain only, while Northern Ireland follows the EU rules. EldrisAI holds the UK appointment rather than EldrisAi OÜ. So packaging for Great Britain carries EldrisAI's details, not the EU ones, as the name and address on your label sets out.
When you hold EU markets and the UK, the certificate names both companies. You can also choose the UK on its own at onboarding, then add markets later from the EU member states.
Great Britain has its own rules, such as the General Product Safety Regulations 2005. The guide to UK and EU Responsible Persons covers them.
Frequently asked questions
Do I get the multi-market discount if I add markets later?
No, the discount applies at onboarding, to the total number of markets you order in one sitting. When you add markets later, they do not count together with the markets you already hold. The discount also covers the market fees only, so it never touches the monthly plan, which follows your SKU count.
Is the fee for an added market refundable?
No, the terms make the one-time onboarding fee for each market non-refundable, with no refund for cancellation or change of mind. The one exception is Eldris failing to deliver the agreed scope of a purchased service. You also pay each market's fee only once, and Eldris does not charge it again.
What counts as one market?
Each EU member state is one market, and so is the UK, which makes 28 markets in all. The UK market is a separate appointment that covers Great Britain only, while Northern Ireland follows the EU rules. Each market you add carries its own one-off fee, and one monthly plan covers them all.
Can I start with the UK and add markets later?
Yes, you can choose the UK on its own at onboarding. After that, each EU market you add is its own one-off registration at the market fee, and you add it in the portal. EldrisAi OÜ holds the appointment for EU markets and EldrisAI holds the UK one, while your monthly plan stays the same.
Is there a monthly fee for each market?
No, there is one monthly plan for all your markets, and it follows your SKU count. The plan runs month to month, and you can cancel it at any time. So a seller with one market and a seller with all 28 pay the same plan price on the same SKU tier.
How do I see which markets I hold?
Your certificate names every market in your appointment, with a document reference number and the appointment date. Your portal keeps your certificates and the logs of authority correspondence, and you can reach it at any time. You can also upload the certificate to Amazon Seller Central or any marketplace that asks for your Responsible Person.
