Questions about the responsible person partner programme
What is a GPSR partner programme?
The same arrangement under the General Product Safety Regulation: the partner refers sellers who need a Responsible Person established in the EU, and Eldris holds the role in its own name.
What is a GPSR certificate, and what does the client receive?
The document a Responsible Person issues to confirm its appointment for a named seller: the seller, the Responsible Person's name and EU address, the markets and the date. Eldris issues it within 60 minutes of onboarding, with a UK version carrying Eldris's own UK address.
Can an authorised representative reseller set its own price?
Yes. A partner pays Eldris the partner price and charges its client what it decides; it may not present the appointment as its own, because the authorised representative on the certificate and the label is Eldris.
Is the Responsible Person monthly or yearly for a partner?
Yearly. The partner code converts the monthly plan into one yearly payment at the partner rate, and the UK is covered on the same terms as the EU.
Is the Eldris partner programme white label?
No. Eldris is the named Responsible Person or registrant and issues the certificate in its own name; the partner is a referral partner and says so to its clients.
What does the partner code do?
Entered with your own email on any Eldris order page, it prices the order at the partner rate, in pounds, and makes the Responsible Person one yearly payment instead of a monthly plan.
Where are the partner prices?
In the partner price list, sent by email with the partner code when an application is approved. They are not published on the websites.
Which services are at the partner rate?
The EU and UK Responsible Person, the cosmetics lines Eldris performs itself (CPSR, PIF, CPNP) and every EPR registration line. The compliance consultation, the CPSR review and cosmetics variations are at the public price; scheme and authority fees are passed through at cost.
Who pays Eldris?
The partner pays at onboarding, by card or by bank transfer against a GBP invoice; Eldris takes no payment from the partner's clients.
Who does Eldris deal with?
Only the partner. Eldris does not contact the partner's clients; messages reach them through the partner, or through the portal once the partner's team is set up there.
Does the partner need an agreement?
Nothing is required to start. If the partner sends an agreement, Eldris signs it.
When can the partner's team use the Eldris portal?
From 10 clients a month for 2 months, Eldris sets the team up as partner users who see their own clients only.
What happens if a client's SKU count grows mid-year?
The Responsible Person tier is upgraded pro rata for the rest of the year; the next yearly payment is at the new tier.
