Letter of Authorisation
EU Responsible Person Appointment
This letter confirms the appointment of EldrisAi OÜ, registered in Estonia (Registration No: 3162734), as the designated EU Responsible Person for the products and brands specified in the accompanying onboarding submission.
By accepting this document, the undersigned ("the Client") authorises EldrisAi OÜ to act on their behalf in the following capacities:
- Act as the named EU Responsible Person as required under EU Regulation 2019/1020 (Market Surveillance Regulation) for general consumer products
- Act as the named EU Responsible Person under EU Regulation 1223/2009 for cosmetics products where applicable
- Provide a registered EU address for display on product packaging and marketplace listings
- Liaise with EU market surveillance authorities and customs officials on behalf of the Client
- Hold or access the Client's Declaration of Conformity and relevant technical documentation
- Issue and manage EU Responsible Person appointment certificates
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date product information via the Eldris dashboard
- Ensure all products comply with applicable EU safety and labelling requirements
- Retain ownership of Product Information Files (PIF), CPNP notifications, and technical files
- Respond to information requests from EldrisAi OÜ within reasonable timeframes
- Maintain a current subscription with valid payment method
EldrisAi OÜ does not produce, manage, or store the Client's Product Information File (PIF), CPNP notifications, Declarations of Conformity, or technical files. These remain the responsibility of the Client or their appointed laboratory/consultant.
This appointment is governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia and the relevant EU regulations referenced herein. Either party may terminate this appointment with 30 days' written notice.
